A small, well formed grossular garnet cluster from The Kayes Region of Mali.  It is dark and shiny.  A natural formation with a few remnants of matrix - possibly quartz - in between a few crystals, there also appears to be some minor epidote on the bottom.  All in all, there is a lot going on in this cluster for a garnet collector and someone who can test all the various minerals included in it.  2.59 oz 1.75" x 1.75" x 1.5"
